WWork

Websites and systems, built end to end.

Websites for real businesses come first: a real-time 3D residence showcase, a 3D detailing studio and a salon concept. Below them, the back-office systems, each one played back step by step.

01Websites

Websites & flagship builds.

Hand-built sites for real businesses, from a file of facts the owner has confirmed. Each one says exactly where it stands, and every number on it was measured, not promised.

Show a page of the Cut Above concept
The Cut Above concept home page: Thirty-four years of never doing the same head twice, beside a photograph of a long balayage, under a notice bar saying it is an unaffiliated concept. The concept's treatments page: Everything we do, and what it costs, with hair, skin, nails and body filters and a search box over the price list. The concept's gallery: The work, not the stock photos, with colour, hair, nails and salon filters above a grid of photographs.

Cut Above

An unsolicited redesign for a long-established hair and beauty salon: a price list you can search, the team, the gallery and a booking request. Static pages, no page builder.

Not commissioned, and it says so on every page: a concept demonstration, not affiliated with the salon. Lighthouse 12, desktop preset, 23 October 2026. Code is gzipped HTML, CSS and JS; the salon's photographs come on top.

02Interactive simulators

Automation systems, played back.

Three working back-office systems: the part of a business that answers the missed call, files the site photo and plans the day. Each one is an interactive simulator on simulated data. Open a case study to replay one real event step by step, switching between the customer's phone and the owner's side.

  2. Hi, it's Northgate Plumbing. Sorry we missed your call! What can we help with? Reply here and we'll get straight back to you.

  3. Hi, the kitchen sink is leaking under the cabinet. Can someone come today?

    SMS · from ••• 0182 · 10:43
  4. Thanks, that's logged. So we can send someone today, reply with your address and a time that suits you.

    SMS · auto-reply · 10:43
  5. 22 Elm Row, flat 3. Any time after 2pm.

    SMS · from ••• 0182 · 10:44
  6. Got it, thank you. Your request is logged, and Northgate Plumbing will call to confirm the visit.

    SMS · auto-reply · 10:44
Replay with simulated data. A call to Northgate Plumbing from a number ending 0182 goes unanswered. Four seconds later the caller gets an SMS apologising and asking what they need. The owner gets a Telegram alert with Call back and Mark handled buttons, and a row is added to the Leads sheet marked Awaiting reply. About a minute later the caller replies that their kitchen sink is leaking; the row updates to Replied and the owner is pinged again. The caller is asked for their address and a good time, replies with both, and the row fills in and is marked Ready to book. The caller gets a message confirming the request is logged and that the business will call to confirm the visit, and a reminder is set in case the lead stays unhandled.

  5. SF-0141 sits with the week's other reports, dated, photographed and open for review
Replay with simulated data. A field worker on the Crestline Solar team sends the WhatsApp bot a photo and a short note: an inverter housing is cracked at Block C of the Riverside site. The bot acknowledges, then replies that it has logged the report as SF-0141, with the fields it pulled out: the location from the message, the worker's own description, and a severity flag marked as a rough estimate. In the team's Site faults sheet, SF-0141 is added below the day's earlier reports (a loose cable tray, now resolved; chipped panel glass, assigned; water pooling by a cabinet, in progress), with its time, location, issue, estimated severity, status New and the photo attached.
